15 - 17 November 2016
Crowne Plaza
16 Hindmarsh Square, Adelaide, 5000 (Map)
Have you ever tried to get a new guideline or piece of evidence into your everyday practice? Were you surprised by how long it took and how complex it was? What would you have liked to have known before you started out on the journey and what help would you have liked on the way? And how did you know things got better as a result?
If these are the sorts of questions and experiences you have had, then this is the workshop for you! The Implementing evidence into practice: steps to success workshop is a three day, highly interactive program covering the essential skills and knowledge needed to facilitate the implementation of evidence and innovations into everyday practice.
Led by an internationally renowned team of knowledge transfer researchers, facilitators and practising clinicians you will be able to learn about how to set up an implementation project, how to facilitate the process and how to evaluate its impact. The team includes Alison Kitson and Gill Harvey from the University of Adelaide, Alison Mudge, Prue McRae and Megan Campbell from the Australian Health Service Institute (AusHSI) QUT Queensland.
