Master of Psychology
Application Process
Applications for the Master of Psychology (Clinical, Health and Organisational & Human Factors) need to be submitted through SATAC 
by no later than Friday 21 October 2016. Late applications will not be accepted.
Additional Information required from applicants
When your SATAC application has been processed you will receive an email asking you to log onto the Online Tracking System to complete further information regarding referees, work experience and any other comments.
It is very important that we receive your Honours or Postgraduate Diploma result by the end of October because without these result you cannot be considered for an interview for the 2017 intake.
This year the Heads of Departments and Schools Psychology Association (HoDSPA) will be administering the referee process. Applicants will need to pay a $25 fee to use the system and the link to the HoDSPA site will be provided in the online application, once you have completed your SATAC application.
Interviews will be held in late November at a date to be determined.
All correspondence about interviews and offers will be relayed through email and the online tracking system.

The aim of this program is to provide graduates with the tertiary-level education required to be eligible for registration as a Psychologist and eligibility for membership of the Australian Psychological Society's (APS) College of Clinical Psychologists.
Clinical Psychology Scholarship Opportunity
When scholarship places are over-subscribed, the selection criteria will be ranked and include but not restricted to the following areas:
- people living in regional, rural or remote areas;
- people of Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander descent; and
- people from Cultural and Linguistic Diverse backgrounds.

The program will provide a professional qualification for those who wish to work as psychologists within the applied health field. In particular, the aim of the program is to produce health psychologists who can apply psychological research and methods to the prevention and management of disease and illness; the promotion and maintenance of health; the identification of psychological factors contributing to illness; and the improvement of the health care system and health policy.
- Master of Psychology (Organisational & Human Factors)

Successful completion of the program will enable graduates with an advanced level of training in organisational psychology to apply for full registration of the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA); to apply for membership of the Australian Psychological Society (APS); and apply for membership of the College of Organisational Psychologists of the APS and /or endorsement in Organisational Psychology with the PsyBA..
The study of Organisational Psychology and Human Factors is concerned with identifying and applying scientific solutions to human problems at work.
- Master of Clinical Psychology (Defence)

To be eligible for admittance to the program applicants must be an Australian Defence Force psychologist (including members of the ADF reserves), Commonwealth Department of Defence employed psychologist or a contracted health practitioner (psychologist) in Joint Health Command. Applicants will also be accepted from ADF members who aspire to become psychologists through Defence.
- Doctor of Philosophy / Master of Psychology (Clinical)
Students applying for this program must apply through SATAC (as outlined above) and concurrently apply to the Adelaide Graduate Centre and complete the Admission & Scholarship Application.
Students are only accepted into this program if they are made an offer to the Master of Psychology (Clinical) program first.
- Doctor of Philosophy / Master of Psychology (Health)
Students applying for this program must apply through SATAC (as outlined above) and concurrently apply to the Adelaide Graduate Centre and complete the Admission & Scholarship Application.

- Doctor of Philosophy
Staff and students within the School of Psychology are engaged in research fields of cognition, perception, neuropsychology, and individual differences. There is also a strong emphasis on applied research engaging with social and organisational issues. Further interests focus on human health and wellbeing through the lifespan and the evaluation of interventions to promote health and wellbeing, and the health policy implications of all.
